The main aim of the present research is to study in details methods of transcription and transliteration. This aim has identified the following tasks to be solved within the frame of the research:
• To study general notion about theory of translation
• To investigate translation procedures, strategies and methods from different points of view
• To make an overview of procedures of translating culture-specific concepts (CSCs)
• To find out peculiarities oftranscription and transliteration
The subject of this research is a problem of translation of the words that don’t have direct lexical correspondences.
The novelty of the research is to study peculiarities of transcription and transliteration on the basis of novel “Nomads” by I. Yessenberlin and “The Adventure of Tom Sawyer” by Mark Twen.
The methods of investigation:
Method of comparison: This method is used in drawing similarities and differences between the theories taken from various investigations.
Demonstration method: Some authentic materials are presented with the help of this method.
The structure of the course work is: Introduction, two chapters and Conclusion.
In the first Chapter we have studied general notion about theory of translation and translation procedures, strategies and methods from different points of view.
In the second Chapter we have studiedtranslation of the words that don’t have direct lexical correspondences with a help of transcription and transliteration.
