The degree of scientific development of the problem
The process of introducing the study of a foreign language in elementary school began in the early nineties of the XX century. For a long time, various educational and methodological complexes in the English language have been created, various teaching methods have been developed, and teachers have been trained who are able to teach English to students. Since the end of the 90s. XX century in various publications of such scientists as I.L. Beam, R.P. Milrud, V.V. Safonov and others, covered various issues related to the development of the goals and content of teaching a foreign language in secondary school.
Aim of the research: To identify the peculiarities of formation of learning reading skills at the middle stage of teaching a foreign language as a personal development.
Object of research is educational process of learning reading skills in grades 5-8 at secondary school.
Subject of research is peculiarities of the formation of learning reading skills at the middle stage of teaching a foreign language.
Tasks of the research:
1. to determine the structure and essence of learning reading skills as a type of speech activity;
