The main aim of writing this work is to study deeply methods of rendering the realias. The aim has identified the following tasks of the research: • To study the influence of one culture on another • To give definition to such concepts as “translation equivalence” and “translating culture” • To study what are realias and national coloring units • To study methods of translation realias and national coloring units on the basis Russian classical literature. Practical value of the research: this material will be useful for future and acting teachers of English language. Results of the research can be used for teaching students of English language department to enhance methods of translation. The present work is consisting of Introduction, two Chapters and Conclusion. In the Introduction there were identified current importance and the main aim of the research. In the first Chapter was studied cultural background of realias and national coloring units. In the second Chapter were analyzed the role of realias and national coloring words in fiction texts and peculiarities of their translation.
